For a very brief period there were two military visitors on the ground at the same time here, which is extremely unusual.

Due to the threat of protesters (more than 100 were arrested yesterday) there is a heavy police presence in the area and at the nearby airport. Those arriving in their own cars may encounter roadblocks/parking restrictions, etc.

Also docked here was the Netherlands Royan Navy Holland class offshore patrol vessel Pennant number P842 (IIRC), which should be HMNLS Friesland. There was no helicopter visible. It is possible one of the two NH90 NFHs currently at RNAS Culdrose will visit here in the coming days. These are serials N-088 and N-195.
