Belgian F-16B crashed

A Belgian F-16B crashed in the west of France today. Both pilots apparently Okay.

In de buurt van Pluvigner (Bretagne), in het westen van Frankrijk, is een Belgische F-16 neergestort. Het ging om een tweezitter. De twee piloten maakten gebruik van hun schietstoel en zijn ongedeerd, zo bevestigt Defensie aan onze redactie. De crash gebeurde tijdens een opleiding die deels in Frankrijk plaatsvindt.

in other words: a Belgian F-16B crashed in the vicinity of Pluvigner (Bretagne) this morning. It was on a regular training mission according to Belgian Defence; both crew okay, also according to Belgian Defence. French sources say it clipped a house prior to the crash and one of the pilots ended up in a high-tension power line with his chute.

Piloot van FA-33 was CO van OCU , achternaam : Vanbeneden. :)
