Napoli-Capodichino (LIRN) 2019 MIL

Post by ehusmann »

Seen during arrival and departure for a short holiday in the area:

Sat 5 Oct 2019
I-CFAI/CFS-102 CH-54A Corpo Forestale
MM54170/4-71 MB-326 Preserved nw side
MM144700/41-33 S-2F Preserved sw barracks
Wed 9 Oct 2019
MM81700/GF-312 AW.109N Guardia di Finanza
PS-103 AB.212 Polizia di Stato
MM51-17536/4-16 T-33A Preserved sw gate
The MB-326 is visible from the terminal, preserved on the other side of the runway, near the road along the airport. The T-33 is at the gate on the southwest side, easily visible from the road. The S-2 is inside the military barracks on the southwest side and I didn't expect it to be visible. However, you can easily see it from a gate behind it, when walking from the terminal to the rental cars.
Also on Wednesday was a C-130 (departed while going through security) and a C-26 (landing while we were waiting to board the flight).
