Possible Tu-160 routing:
Down the east coast of Africa out over the Indian Ocean,
then enter SA via KZN
where the Hawks will escort them to Waterkloof.
They will not route overland Africa.

Apparently serials 94102 and 94112

There was some brief activity on the Strategic HF bomber net on 8033 Kilohertz USB at 0600 GMT.

They’re airborne!

Tu-160s 94102 & 94112 are on their way to Waterkloof, South Africa.
Will confirm the ETA once I have it,
but expected arrival is between 3pm and 4pm SAST.

They're scheduled to leave Waterkloof on Friday.
