WDL Aviation (WH, Cologne/Bonn) will retire all remaining BAe 146s
- two BAe 146-200s and two BAe 146-300(QT)s - by the end of 2019,

parent German Airways (Cologne/Bonn) said in a post on LinkedIn.

"We continue our fleet renewal to Embraer E190s.
By the end of 2019, our last four BAe will also leave us," German Airways said,

commenting on a photo showing the farewell departure of BAe 146-200 D-AZFR (msn E2108).

The quadjet was retired on October 30 and subsequently ferried over the course of November 8-11, 2019, to Australia,
Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.

German Airways said that the aircraft has been sold to an unnamed customer in Australia.
According to Skyliner Aviation, the quadjet was bought by Pionair Australia (SFZ, Bankstown)
and will be registered as VH-SYO.

WDL Aviation previously said that it will sell three BAe 146 aircraft to Pionair.

It already sold BAe 146-300(QT) freighter msn E3150, ex-D-AJAM and now VH-SAJ, to the Australian carrier.

Of the two passenger-configured -200s, D-AMGL (msn E2055) has been inactive since October 28,
while D-AWUE (msn E2050) continues to operate between Cologne/Bonn and Craiova.

The remaining two freighters are in long-term storage at Cologne/Bonn airport.
WDL Aviation owns all the BAe 146s.

WDL Aviation also operates three E190LRs and is preparing to take delivery of a fourth unit of the type.

Sister carrier LGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (HE, Dortmund), which is also a part of German Airways,
operates seventeen Dash 8-400s on behalf of Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf Int'l)
and is also preparing to take its first E190LR.
