ETAR Preserved aircraft

Post by Zonan »

Hello,

During my last time at Ramstein air base I noticed there were what looked to be C-27 Spartans at the south side of the field.
One of them is clearly visible from highway 6, the others can be seen at google maps.
Does anyone have the IDs of these aircraft?

Here's a google maps link: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@49.42420 ... a=!3m1!1e3

Take a walk along the fence and you can see all four of the AfghanAF C-27's. Also by car possible, but Anliegerfrei (and possibly a fine when seen bij Polizei). Few years ago they were also visable from the Bismarckturm in Landstuhl. Don't know if that is still possible...
Cheers,

Jeroen
