EWAS has been advised by the municipality of Eindhoven that 2020 will see a major reconstruction of roads near Eindhoven Airport. This will inevitably lead to road closures, alternative routes and delays. Most of this focusses on the "Spottersweg", the road parallel to the canal east of the airport.
Edit: during the time of closure of the Spottersweg for vehicle traffic, this will obviously affect transit time between P4 at the airport and the GLV-V
Also, the "official" spotting location (though rarely used by spotters), the parking lot at the Spottersweg at the Runway 21-side of the field, will be closed as of 27 january. It is due to be moved several meters closer to the runway threshold in due time, but the reopening will probably not be before october 2020.
