54+03 and 54+04 should still be in Madrid for maintenance.Herby wrote:Noted here on 5.3. were the following A400M of LTG 62 on the ramp:
54+05, 54+07 (just landed) 54+14, 54+25, 54+29, 54+30 plus three more unidentified. Flying as PRIMER and refuelling ship over southern Germany was 54+31.
Away in the world were 54+22 (Al Azraq), 54+24 (Niamey), 54+28 (Afghanistan) and 54+32 (Nellis AFB).
The detachment at Al Azraq will continue after the return of the German TLwG 51 recce contingent at the end of March.
Leaving for Norway and low level flying training should two A400M on 7.3.
Colonel (Oberst) Ludger Bette will hand over the wing to Oberst Christian John on 24.3. during a change of command at the base.
Some 170 additional posts will come to Wunstorf when a new "Luftumschlagszug" (air reloading point) will emerge at the wing to replace/supplement the one at Köln-Bonn. The tactical component of LTG 62 (presumably 3./LTG 62) will transfer to Lechfeld probably as Lufttransportgruppe Lechfeld and not as an own wing.
2021?Herby wrote:That´s right. Nearly half of the fleet is in A- and C-Checks, upgrades etc. 54+04 will come back in early-January.
