Any very small chance to have farewell flights like for MD11? Probably not considering COVID Outbreak.

What do you think yourself since all events with 100plus peopla are canx, and its not really a festive reason they are retired asap.

There will be very little opportunity or reason for any extras or festivities. That would send a wrong signal at this moment. I would not be surprised if KLM is nationalized by the Dutch government within a few weeks. Just like they did with ABN a couple of years ago. KLM/Schiphol is too important for the dutch economy.

Indeed,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvPdvsb40_c
was filmed by a wellknown "videographer" on this Scramble forum.

The radio-transmission after 1.05 on that Youtube-clip is rather poignant... :(
This really IS the end of an era... :(

...website nu.nl
has a far wider audience than Luchtvaartnieuws.nl -or UpintheSky -or another aviation-themed website/forum of course.
Hundreds of thousands -to a million visitors daily.
Plus, this is a Sunday afternoon with not a lot going on. :|

That could mean a lot of "dagjesmensen" or "groot publiek/general public"
who up to now were not daily visitors to aviation-themed websites or groups or forums.... :|

Polderbaan: 4000m : 1,5= 2666 (x2). Note: the landing distance of this runway is 'only' 3800m. Most other runways have landing distances of approximately 3350m, allowing for some 2230 spectators per side! The runways are 45m wide (Polderbaan 60m), so plenty of separation between 'East and West' or 'North and South', depending on the runway in use.
