The next day, Sunday, I started at the spotting spot called "the holes" at 25th St. From this location you can monitor all action on runways 08L/R and 12. Runway 12 is rarely used for take-offs, mainly for landings. The northern side of the airport is also where UPS and FedEx have their facilities. The location is called "the holes" as there are a few holes in the fence, making photography easier. However, there is quite some construction going on, and during my visit there was a lot of construction stuff on the apron, preventing clear pictures. Luckily the roof of my rented Jeep Wrangler enabled me to photograph...
I arrived at the spot early in the morning for a few hours, before touring other airports, which I will cover in seperate topics later.
