The Japanese air base Nyatubaru is one of the large F-15 Eagle fields of the Japanese Air Force
(Japan Air Self Defense Force, JASDF). Two squadrons of F-15J Eagles are based at this airport.
The airport is very accessible for photography at several beautiful locations. In this video I first
used LUT tables to correct colors. After a lot of amateurish attempts in Premiere Pro I found a
new tactic for color correction. In Premiere I do not always find the Lumetri Color Correction easy,
because you cannot correct accurately with those color wheels. Now I started using LUTs (Look
Up Table) last week. That's a small color table that tells how the pixels in the frames should behave.
So you give an offset in the colors of a video sample. After a long search I discovered that you
can create LUTs with Lightroom on a grid where you copy your settings. In short, I can continue
to do the color correction in my trusted Lightroom where I make the big difference with the HSL
correction. I can import the generated LUT into the video sample in Premiere.
