Mahy Collection in Gent

Post by Antheii »

Back in the last century (up to c. 1985?), the Mahy family had a automobiles collection/museum in Gent (Belgium), in the former Wintercircus building - before they moved to Leuze-en-Hainaut.

Hanging from the roof there, was one aircraft - for some blurry/partial images see here, and page 20 in this PDF.

Anybody any information on this aircraft?

New attempt ;-)

I think this might have been an ex-Belgian Army Auster. But any confirmation would be appreciated.

According to https://www.hangarflying.eu/erfgoedsite ... hymobiles/ , the aircraft should still be in storage at the new museum in Leuze - but unfortunately they don't even mention which type it is.
