A CL-415 of the Moroccan Air Force was
damaged during a scooping at the level of the Assmir dam,
between Fnideq and Tetouan in northern Morocco.

The aircraft registered CN-ATO was one of three Canadairs deployed by the FRA
to fight against the fire which is ravaging the Haouz Malaliyine forest in the Fnideq region
and which destroyed about fifty hectares of pine forest.

The Moroccan army has deployed emergency resources to help the crew.
