On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, a "Memory for the Future" flyby will take place - a joint flyby, led by an IAF Gulfstream G550 with F-16 fighter jets and two German "Eurofighter" jets, will fly by the Dachau concentration camp, in memory of the Holocaust victims and above the "Fürstenfeldbruck" Airport close to Munich, in memory of the 11 Israeli Olympic delegation members that were murdered in the 1972 Olympics terrorist attack.”

Is it known where the G550 will land? Nörvenich or Köln?

Looking at the flight pattern it seems more like a local mission.

It's not flying above Libanon, after the turn to the east it flew straight to the west using Israel airspace. Followed by GLF550 s/n 684.

16/08/20 - 10:50 local time.
1 B 707 '290' and 1 GV '684' always turning over Israel.
Maybe waiting the second B707...

The 684 is a local mission. Please be advised the Sunday is a normal flying day in Israel, and this is a daily practice flying at high altitude over the Med.
Perhaps we can try to stick to the facts, and try not to repor every IAF flight until it is going to cross north west into Athens FIR?

For those waiting at Cologne. As far as i can see no 707's on route (unless they have switched of ADS-b signals all the way).
With a flying time of 4+ hours it seems unlikely they will arrive before 18.00 local, if they arrive at all.
The G550 684 is still doing his local mission over the Med, the 707 Giant1 seems to have landed, wouldn't be surprised if this was a positioning flight to Hatzor for tomorrow's departure.
Hope this is of use for those waiting at CGN for this.

It is. Although not the news I was hoping for obviously. Thanks either way.

Local word is the tankers will arrive tomorrow, directly at Norvenich.

Just like the Israeli Air Force wrote on their own website.
