Post by fokker74 »

Is there a current list from planes still visible at the airport,
What are good places to make pictures and see the planes.

https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewe ... GiV8KW8Heu Here's a link to a map of EHTW which shows all/most of the good places to spot the aircraft and it also shows the routes how to get to these spots.
Currently visible at the airport are:
CS-TOK (TAP A330, for dismantling)
CS-TOI (TAP A330, for dismantling)
LN-RNN (SAS 737, for dismantling)
LN-RPK (SAS 737, for dismantling)
As far as I know OO-SFY (Brussels A330, dismantling) is still there too, but I'm not sure.
For the rest:
VP-BMU (A220, temporary stored)
VP-BMQ (A220, temporary stored)

Took a look last saturday 11 april.
Only the 2 TAP Airbus A-330 (CS-TOK and CS-TOI)
and 2 SAS Boeing 737's (LN-RNN and LN-RPK) are at AELS site

The General aviation site houses te 2 temporary stored Airbus 220's (VP-BMU and VP-BMQ)

Yes the A220's are good visible, you can park your car close to the spottershill, then you can walk to the old fuel depots and you can stand on top of them, from here some good pictures can be made with a telelens, location of the old fuel depots 52.270111,6.893493

But please do not go towards the fence.
This is a nature reserve and we are in the middle of the breeding season.
Please stay on the paths
