This is a hoax ...
Two days ago, the hellenic defence minister talked before the parlament about the current defence programmes.
He mentioned a lot, Mirage 2000-5, MH-60R, submarines, MLRS, etc., but no word about possible F-35 so soon.
Current HAF-plan is for 2025 and after.

... Not sure it is a hoax, F-35s were mentioned in the latest US Greece Defense Agreement in January 2020 starting in 2022. It seems USAF don't need the six former Turkish aircraft, and are reselling them another unknown country. This was reported mid September. For now 18-0001 and 18-0002 are still stored at Luke AFB and 18-0003-18-0006 are assumped to be stored at Fort Worth. (0005 and 0006 never left the facility and 0003 and 0004 were transferred there from Luke AFB.

While they have been mentioned, if you read the original Greek text you will see that the timeframe for the F-35 is between 2025 and 2027, along with the phantom's withdrawal ;)
Good news if it's true, but I'm 99 % sure this won't happen.
There are absolutely no preparations regarding the F-35 which is currently taking place at the HAF. No personal send to the US, no facilities upgrades (Andravida?), nothing at all ...

But, everything is possible :)
Let us drink a tee and wait.
