Hi Michiel,

I have seen that you were in Bucharest for BIAS 2017 and saw some helicopters a few days before.

BIAS2017 took place on the 22nd of July.

On the 20th of July, Saint Ilie, is the annual celebration of Aviation Day in Romania, since this is the patron saint of aviation in Romania. Thus, a flypast took place over the centre of the city, with the axis running to the west of Baneasa. So what you saw was helicopters taking off and preparing for this flypast.

Now, luckily, I attended this flypast (as an ordinary citizen, on foot, on the ground) and took photos of all participating aircraft. Some I could not identify because they flew directly overhead and I could not see any serials. But on the rest you can find the log below.

Also, to back up my claims and to see extra comments, please look at the photos I uploaded on Flickr, in this public album. I hope you find the data useful and can fill in some blanks in your logs.
