In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Wednesday:

10. CH-10 taxiing to its spot with H40 standing guard in the field between apron and runway.

Awsome pictures. Many thanks for sharing them. Always a pleasure to see that MVKK is used as a really "operational" field, involving different sort of aircraft (fixed/rotary wing).
During this exercise, one of the highlight was the presence of several F-16's, which reminds me of several exercises (on the high seas) where they attacked/crossed maritime units.

Good thing you guys made all these fine pics because I don't think we're ever going to see the Belgians again in Den Helder.

The incident with the practice ammo got bigger. Security camera's have registered that Belgian soldiers have given practice ammo to some children in a snackbar in Den Helder :shock:. Belgian military feels very uncomfortable with the situation and is fully investigating the matter and says that the soldiers in question will be punished accordingly. Giving practice ammo to civilians is forbidden by law according to the Belgian military.

The mayor of Den Helder is contemplating pressing charges and never wants to have the Belgian military in Den Helder again!
