The AV-8Bs of VMA-211 Wake Island Avengers are operating from Kadena,having returned from Thailand at the end of February.Reports of these jets have not been forthcoming and I know only 2 Bu numbers out of the eight jets on this UDP.

Next week(14-21st March) should see VMFA(AW)-225 Vikings replaced by another F/A-18 unit.* Update,these have arrived earlier than anticipated,see below.

Based UC-12F 163559 having been unserviceable at U-Tapao for the last few weeks finally departed there on the 6th to Phnom Penh.This airplane has not been seen arriving at back at Iwakuni yet.

On the 6th April one of the resident UC-12F is due to depart from here en route to MCAS Yuma.The first stop will be in the Philippines.The next stop will probably be U-Tapao.
