Peter, I saw Pieter S. today at work and heard the whole story. He mentioned that you posted photos already.
We really got to see this pictures on the big screen in Den Helder. Your photos are absolutly stunning.

That's a very rare Orion you catched there, it's equipped with the Littoral Surveillance Radar System (LSRS) in VP-40 markings.

Yes we also visited MCAS Futenma but this airbase is a nightmare for photographers so we did not stay there for long. Here a few more pics:
