Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

The 23rd Wing has left Pope quite a while now! :) Those HC-130Ps belong to the 71st RQS at Moody AFB, GA.

When the 23rd Wing moved its C-130Es and A-10s to Moody, the 71st RQS operated a handful of FT coded C-130Es (complete with tiger/shark mouth) as trainers and transports - to save some hours on the very, very tired HC-130P airframes. However, the Echo Hercs are no longer operational and have left Moody, except for one or two that the 71st RQS and associated AMU use for ground based training.

pobably the same 3HH-60's that went to Ramstein inside a C-5A 69-0023
Probaly not. We were at Kalamata on the 7th of November. The 3 HH-60's at Ramstein arrived on Ramstein on the 2nd of November (inside the 69-0023) and departured on the 8th of November. According tosome LOG's the HH-60's were in hangar 2 all these days. So almost impossible these are the same choppers.
