The base is still closed due to runway WIP until early-September. From 18.08. MFG 5 detached its SAR Sea King to Hohn for the next weeks. As an outlanding post there are less rules for flying.

On the morning of 19.08 it did a flight from Hohn to Hohe Düne arriving just after 10.00h local.

For the first time in German aviation history all three BATS Rhin/Rhein C-130J-30 can be seen on German soil and on the same base at the same time.

55+02 and 55+03 arrived yesterday (14.10.) from Cyprus, 55+01 landed at 14.40h on 15.10., a Sunday, at the base. All will depart today for the Near East.
