THAI Cargo may open BKK-AMS-BKK with B777-200F according to CEO of Southern Air who operates the freighter aircraft on behalf of THAI CARGO:

Southern Air chief executive Daniel McHugh says that over the past six months Southern has already been operating one of its 747-200s from Bangkok as part of the initial phase in Thai's new cargo expansion plan. The next phase will involve Southern's two 777s operating from Bangkok to Frankfurt and "probably" to Amsterdam.

The carrier took delivery of its first 777F in early February and, following the completion of US Federal Aviation Administration-supervised proving flights in the USA, will be ferried to Bangkok this week ahead of a 27 February launch of revenue services.

He adds that a second 777 will be delivered to Southern on 2 March and will also be operated for Thai, which signed last year a two-year wet-lease contract fully covering Southern's first two 777s.

Zij zullen vanaf Wenen met de Embraer 190 gaan vliegen.

Rond de tweede week van maart zal de dienstregeling bekend worden en ticketsuitgave gestart worden;
Vanaf 28 maart zal de dienst VIE-AMS gestart worden, er word overigens in het begin nog gevlogen met de MD-83 (en daarnaast zal de vloot worden aangevuld met 3 geleasde EMB-195's (voor diensten naar FRA, ARN, 2 steden in Irak en nog een paar ander velden)

Delta has again slightly adjusted its Summer 2010 Atlantic flight schedule.

Though the airline plans to operate BOS-AMS-BOS 2x daily in peak summer it has replaced the A330-200 with a B767-300:

Egyptair has announced plans to increase the frequency on CAI-AMS-CAI from 5x/week to 6x/week starting 30 June 2010 for the summer only, with an additional flight on Tuesday:

There remains uncertainty about the Summer schedule ATL-AMS-ATL.

In January 2010 Delta published advanced schedules for the high summer season indicating a new 3rd daily service with B767-300 operating in the afternoon/evening 6x/week ex.Tue.

In February Delta deleted this new flight from the schedules.

In March 2010, KLM has released a new codeshare service on AMS-ATL-AMS which may indicate that the 3rd service operated by Delta will operate this summer, however it would be with an A330-200 not a B767-300ER.

Once again a wait and see!

Iemand enig idee welke B738 ze dan gaan gebruiken. Volgens Airfleets.net hebben ze alleen een B733 en een MD83.

Waarschijnlijk gewoon Summerlease. Afgelopen zomer vloog VQ ook met 737-800s, o.a. de C-FEAK van Sunwing uit Canada.
Oh en deze 737-800 zag ik laatst van ze:
