Don’t think it was the ‘final’ visit but one of the last was N793CK on 22jun16. Which flown to ATL with a fuel stop in Gander.
N793CK on 13-14 April 2017. Came in on the 13th at 16:46 from Toulouse and departed on April 14 to JFK at 10:28.
This is very interesting stuff! Thank you! I myself saw it for the last time during it's visit at 24-07-2016.Iemand91 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:40N793CK on 13-14 April 2017. Came in on the 13th at 16:46 from Toulouse and departed on April 14 to JFK at 10:28.
Was the last remaining Kalitta 747-200/Classic and she retired only days later on April 21 from Seattle to Oscoda.
Landing gear was timed out (she was temporarily 'fixed' with landing gear from sistership N795CK).
If my memory is correct, it was also the very last time a 747-classic visited Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, 47 years since the very first.

Well, not anymore with the visit of Geo-Sky 747-200 4L-GEO today.
So yesterday on 8-7-2021 AMS finally welcomed a 747-classic again, 4 years after the last visit of that Kalitta bird (which ironically joined the GeoSky fleet in 2017). Also exactly 51 years and one day since that Pan Am! Hopefully this was not the last time.Iemand91 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:40N793CK on 13-14 April 2017.
