And they even speak about 15 Typhoons so maybe they change Typhoons the next week? time will tell. https://www.nwzonline.de/friesland/blau ... 05264.html

Greetz.
19 May seems to be correct, but if i read the article it will be a crew change next week, so a new bunch of pilots.
Austria only has 15 Typhoons of which some will be in maintenance and others needed for QRA duties, so i doubt they will change all Typhoons.
I doubt if they are going to swap Eurofighters at all. I suspect that the number of 15 mentioned in the article refers to the total number of Eurofighters operated by Austria, not the number of aircraft that will come to Wittmund.
Where and when did you see the 7L-WD?
We made a drive around the base and saw the 7L-WI in front of a shelter.
We also saw you passing bye and waving to us )
It says; The first 7 EF2000 landed on Witmund................ After one and a half week the next batch will come to Wittmund. All together 15 aircraft will come.
7L-WD was towed from shelter to maintenance hangar after the last landings. 7L-WI was towed away from that maintenance hangar. Didn't wait to see where it went.

I think it was it the last shelter just right of the run-up. There was a towing truck in front of that shelter when we departed at 11:55 or so.
