So this time the farmer sadly had to say "no".

Along the N383 north of Marssum numerous steel road plates / "rijplaten"
have been laid
for several hundreds of metres/yards...

Parking is free!
Apparently there will be several road traffic controllers/verkeersregelaars "on scene".

Thanks for the info. Especially about the steel road plates. But I hope you mean along the Bitgumerdyk, because the N383 is far away.
