guess the F-15s had been cancelled before the beginning of the course and replaced by the additional pair of Spang F-16s.

Additional fighters: two Mirage 2000s, two based F-16s and the two additional Danish F-16s, two "additional" (taken from the various spare and changed aircraft on the TLP ramp) Tornado F.3s also took place last week and two of them departed last Friday and did not return.

REQ: TLP reunion invite

Post by Piet Luijken »

Next year TLP will move from Florennes to Albacete.
The TLP organization is planning a closing event to go out with a bang.
We are offering them a helping hand with the following official announcement.

TO ALL FORMER TLP COLLEAGUES WHO HAVE WORKED AT FLORENNES.

Dear Colleagues

As you probably know TLP will move from Belgium to Spain in July 2009.

TLP Florennes has been, and still is, a great success. This is all because of the effort and enthusiasm you have put into TLP.

It is because of the success and comradery for which TLP is famous, that the TLP Cdt would like to organize a reunion of current and “old” TLP personnel. This reunion will be scheduled for June 2009 and will be combined with the official closing ceremony at Florennes.

In order to contact and invite as many colleagues as possible it is requested that you let us know your current address and email. If you know the whereabouts of other colleagues please do not hesitate to send their details to us as well. Better 5 times than missing one.

You can send the info to
Cpl Paul Donaldson
tlpadmin@tlp.be
Hope to see you all in June 2009

Nico de Vos

TLP Admin Supervisor
