@ Heron: I don't think that was it, because I followed that weather on buienradar.nl, and it was later....... What i did see at the Leeuwarden Open Dagen-forum was that the MiG29 left at 13.04h. So my guess is that I heard that one.

Jets tuesday evening??

Post by OscarM »

On tuesday evening the 24th some jets were clearly visible flying at high altitude from north-west to south east over Eindhoven. I guess they were heading for Spangdahlem (?). The first group (4 aircraft) was overflying Eindhoven at 18.50. The second (2 aircraft?) at 19.05 and the third group(3 aircraft) around 19.50.

Anybody more info about their identity? Any help is welcome.

Huron61, 71 and 83 flights.

All GAF Tornados comming back from US to Germany.

At least 5 landed at Lechfeld, some at Buchel(?).

3 supporting KC-10s landed at Mildenhall (Clean11, 21, 31).

Cheers,
Oscar

Thank you very much for the information! So it were GAF Tornados. Didn't have my binoculars with me so I couldn't identify them.

Thanks!
