great quality of pics everybody, but i don't want to be a realy pain in the asssss, but...

Did u see more planes then only the ones on foto?

Cause i see a large amount of pictures from the same Herc and same Hawk... But 4 page's of the same planes is a bit to much (IMHO)

The tonka shots are realy great... and a welcome change...

Sorry to dissapoint you but during the first three days we only had Hawks 'n Hercs. Most of us left on Wednesday eve. The few who remained on Thursday were lucky to get two Tornados.

Hi TopGun,

Most of us spent 3 days in the Loop. This is what we saw:

Monday - 20 April - gorgeous weather (last flight 18:10 !)

4 Hawks (all 2x), 2 C-130's (both 1x each)

Tuesday - 21 April - fog-filled afternoon (last flight 11.50)

2 C-130's (all 1x), 2 Hawks (all 1x), 1 Hawk T2 (2x)

Wednesday - 22 April - started off with poor visibility (first flight around 14.30)

4 Hawks (1x), 2 Hawks (2x), 3 C-130's (1x)

As you can see we had 20 passes from Hawks and 7 passes from Hercs. At least three individual Hawks were seen on two separate days, as were some Hercs. This explains why you see so many photos of so few aircraft. Only five people from our group visited the Loop on Thursday and Friday, an they had the opportunity to shoot the Tonka's and Hawk in primer.

This topic is here for the group to share photos, and yes, 21 people shot photos from the same aircraft. But our trip was not set up to shoot as many different serials as possible, but to shoot differently from the regular TLP-collection-shots as shown here in this Photo forum ever so often. Quality over quantity !

Learn from it....... I did !

Cheers,
Iwan

Hi guys,

At last I had time to copy the photos to my PC, and here is the first result:

Image

I had a great time in Wales. Not only at the Bwlch and Cad West, but also in our cottage and during the BBQ's in the evenings. A big "Thank You" to all 21 photographers who joined this trip and helped it make as successful as it was. I'm looking forward to the "Waanzinige Wales Week 2010" already !

More photos to follow soon.

Cheers,
Iwan

Hi Guys,

After spending 3 day's in the hills some of us decided to go to Valley. Here is one photo of the many we made that day despite the weather.

 Super shots everybody, too bad about the lack of movements. I agree with Iwan that it is the quality where it's all about. The slow shutter shots are awesome!

Question to "the 21 of Wales": what was the most favourite place to stay?

Hola Michael,

Hmmm good question, it’s hard to say whether it was the local pub, the restaurant or our massive BBQ…

If you talk about the best photo spot, 100% Cad-West, no doubt.

Where can i sign up for next year Iwan? Im very curious at your shots, the Herc is a nice teaser :D (5DmkII?)

Marcel, your last Hawk and Tornado...Gooood! I like the Tornado shot more cause of the background..

PH-HEE.. 1st shot :!: an 11 on the scale 1- 10

And the rest as well, excellent material. I choose quality over quantiy every day!

Hi all

CAD West was definitely the place to take the pictures but I have to be honest: The BBQ was the best place to be. Iwan. If you are still wondering how the hell I made it up to CAD west a mere 10 minutes earlier then you, here is the answer:

Thanks Meirion for this picture!

Here a few my own, some of Wales, but I do not have so much to add to the great pictures already posted here. So I have added some pics of the alternative program. (Valley on Wednesday, Coningsby on Thursday, Waddington on Friday)
