Based Mirage 2000Ds noted yesterday were 617/133-IS, 618/133-XC, 623/133-MP, 624/133-IT, 634/133-JE, 636/133-JV, 637/133-133-XQ, 639/133-JJ, 645/133-XP, 653/133-AU, 660/133-JF, 667/133-JZ, 669/133-AL, 670/133-XF, 672/133-XV and 681/133-AG. Visitors were TBM.700s 95/XH and 105/XK; Rafale B 333/113-IH; and FN Falcon 10MER 32.

Very positive attitude from the Nancy Gendarmerie yesterday, content to have everyone ‘corralled’ along a track near to the approach (which was great for landing pictures) and asking only that no-one came right up to the fence.

Any one for some info about the missions of the Saudi's? Do they fly every day?

A French source states the Saudis typically fly a morning and an afternoon mission with 4 a/c, invariably the same 4. No info on daily missions, but I would be doubtful about Friday...

Same source mentions 4 Saudi C130s arriving on Wednesday April 16.

I heard that typical exercise mission consists of 4 F-15s, 4 locals and 4 Luxeuil Mirage 2000s

We where there yesterday. In the morning and in the afternoon the saudis flew in pairs of two.
In the morning a pair and when those returned the next pair went out and in the afternoon exactly the same.
Luckily for us they used al six Eagles, thanks for that.
We've had no problems at all with the police.
