Hi Marcus,F17_114PM wrote:I heard, that this gathering had to do with the disbandment of our C-12 unit (E/52nd Avn).
Is this true and, if yes, has someone more infos about it? Which is then the new C-12 unit in Stuttgart?
Yes that would be nice !F17_114PM wrote:Thank you. Sad ...
But, on the other side, the base is currently very heavy in use, so, I don´t think we will see much of a reduction in movements. Maybe, they need the space to house 1-2 C-5
By the way, a small addition to the 16th:
71+12 UH-1D overfly
C-12U 84-0163 already left Germany for CONUS on april 16th as DUKE47.Thomas266 wrote:Hi Marcus,F17_114PM wrote:I heard, that this gathering had to do with the disbandment of our C-12 unit (E/52nd Avn).

by the end of last year i talked to a civil contacted Raytheon C-12 engineer, and it seems there will be no other C-12 Unit at Stuttgart. 1 or 2 airframes will go to Wiesbaden, rest to CONUS.
In fact we have no based Aircraft or Helicopters here after they leave. But i have no idea what will happen in the future, time will tell.
