144 FW F-15's will be attending Red Flag 18-2

Source: http://www.144fw.ang.af.mil/Portals/40/ ... 202018.pdf

"Then in March 2018 we will be attending Red Flag 18-2 at Nellis AFB. Again we will be flying all Blue Air and this time fighting against the 64th Aggressor Squadron from Nellis. This will be another opportunity to fly FI sorties with F-22s but this time in a Large Force Employment (LFE) scenario and against the robust threat array of the Nevada Test and Training Range.

I see a problem with this..... Theirs no F22 Squadrons on the list for 18-2 at this point? (Can I hope for Hawaii ones?)

Do you (or somebody else) know already the id of the RAAF AP-3C.
Number is on (inside) of the Nose Wheel Door and probably visible during landing.

Anybody has any info on the mission times for RF 18-2? Is it a day-day RF or just like last year a day-night RF? (Launch around 1300lt and recovery from 1500lt for the first mission of the day)

Many Thanks!!

Currently inbound is ASY449 Heavy, C17A A41-210.
Yesterday a KC30A A39-004 landed McCarra ,and another C17 most likely also landed McCarran, that was A41-207.

Thanks for answering. So if I went the first Monday (12th) would it be at full swing? If so, at what time does d launches/recoveries occur, and from what I know this exercise will coincide with Green Flag 18-05 so is there also different launching times from red flag?

Pieter,
The good old days of back to back RFs where the Saturday and Sunday would see a mass swap-over of aircraft as one RF ended and another began :-)
