All resistance is futile... Nothing can beat an F-101 and F-105. Still, we won't surrender and add some more dinosaurs. Keep this going!

A real dinosaur, the Flying Dinosaur, as it was called. Valkenburg (where else?) early 1980s.

A Shackleton, landing at Fairford in 1989.

My favourite Victor-shot, Fairford 1989.

And touch down!
Image

What about this fast dinosaur?
Image

And finally, an A-6 landing at Misawa.

P.S. I remember there were SH- and TH-coded F-105's on deployment at Nörvenich and I did not have time to go due there, due to school..
That's what i call a once in a life time chance  School is lasting, those F-105's are temporary

Everybody has nice stories about the return of Russia forces from East Germany, but didn't have seen any pictures of them...hint hint!

Pieter, i have heard you talking about Reforger's? The arrival of a large force from America if i remember correctly.

Keep them coming

Another try:

Some Rhinos in stead of Dinos:

An RF-4C of the Nebraska Air Guard, taken at Boise, ID in 1993.

A Wild Weasel of the local 190th FS Idaho Air Guard.

All in favour to disqualify Slijfie and Warthog raise your hand. :jester:
No, seriously guys (all of you!), awesome pics of awesome birds. I'm lucky (and old) enough to have enjoyed the operational Blackbird too. Remember one in the circuit at the Hall... or the six KC-135Rs that would launch before The Jet emerged. Sigh.

Tailhooker tipped me there is a type missing so far:

Image
Pair of F6s (XR756 and XS904) landing at Binbrook, 23jul87.
Unfortunately about all of my '82 slides were overexposed due to a broken light meter, they were much more active back then.

Image
XR716 performing at Fairford, 18jul87 (the rainy Tattoo).

Just a few from me. Can't beat the century-fighters, they are super.
