There are "rumours" out there, at the moment it is declared as "flying":
1) Hungarian Airforce cancelled their own airshow due to economic crises. In March 2009 General László Tömböl (Chief of Staff) visited Zeltweg and it is said he confirmed the Mig-29 display for Airpower09.

2) Mig-29 were grounded worldwide because of 2 crashes in Russia. Hungarian Airforce has encountered no problems with their jets, so the corrosion problems are likely due to insufficient maintanance in the Russian Airforce. (?)
India is testing its MiG-29 fleet for structural flaws, after Russia grounded all 300 of its own, and found 90 of them had serious corrosion problems.
