ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Few shots from me. I would like to thank all of you (especially TopGun1984) for your help. Thanks to your advises I found a good way to airfield and I was well prepared for the airshow. Once again thanks a lot!

You are absolutely right, you can't get that nowhere for that price, just checked it at Kamera-Express and if you double the amount I mentioned, you are closer!
No equipment for the average spotter!
I stick to my D200 and D300.

Grtz.

That's absolutely no equipment for a average spotter !!
I stick to my Sony alpha 350 with tamron lens, or i must win the lotery

Did I like it???? I love it! I am still excited! From now on any other show cannot compare to RNLAF Open Days! Organistation was perfect, people were very friendly...fantastic participatns...And the Airpower Demo...Incredible! I just bought KDC10 plastic kit cause I want to have something with RNLAF markings in my flat;)
Of course I will come back next year to Glize Rijen (with other spotters from Poland - they went crazy when I showed them pictures).
Congratulations for perfect show and again many thanks! RNLAF rules!

LOL, come on, it's not the equipment only, you have to just see what you have. And learn how to use it. And remember, Eagle has done some great Photoshoping on his pictures. (I am still learning how to use it..)

I tried to find the same pictures as Eagle im my own Luchtmachtdagen-collection too prove that it's not only the equipment. Offcourse, some shots are a bit different with or without sun..And i have less MP than a D3x, but you will see my point. So stop thinking you need the best of the best gear and try to explore how far you can go with your own gear

I made these pics with an Canon 40D (With absolutley sucky 3" display) and a 400 mm 5.6 (the small version without IS) and no tripod... And now you can read my Exif as well if i'm correct. I used Photoshop CS4 to "calibrate" my pictures. :D

Enjoy (i hope!)

Well, i don't think so, maybe just an Italian made heli on the static?... The NH-90 came over from the Paris Airshow as far as i know.

Until when is it getting boring for showing pictures of these days? I still have a few i want to show, so i guess i just continue :D

2 more..

1. F-18 starting to pull to the vertical on saterday

2. Cougar just before touchdown
