indeed the WB-57 was at Lajes, he flew afterwards to Bermuda.......

The (ex)Aviano prowlers are due to depart Lajes tomorrow as Trend51 flight with Roma01 as tanker support.

An undisclosed number of 107th Fighter Squadron A-10Cs is expected to leave Selfridge AFB, Michigan, for Afghanistan tomorrow. After crossing the Atlantic, they will have their first stopover at Lajes Field. @ all Lajes spotters: Take care to catch as much as possible stopover pictures!

Gold 61 Flt currently on HF 08906.0 Wkg Santa Maria (Credit Roger Wills)...Might be your A-10's?
