Anyone for the number of the C-17 passing over Nederweert in WNW direction today 12-2-'16 at 12.48 local time.

Hi, at the moment C17A 02-1101 is again heading north-west above Sittard according ADS-B, did it fly up-and-down to the UK today?

It hasn't been in the UK. Based on mode-s and MLAT, I think it encountered some technical issues above The Netherlands and went back to either Ramstein or Spangdahlem. It seems to have made a U-turn over de Betuwe. So your sighting early this evening was it's second attempt.

Sorry...Just left Dutch airspace direction UK... But IL76MF RJZ361 is a nice one.....

Seen on radar C-5B (87-0045) RCH148 ca. 26000ft overhead Volkel ca.14.45LT to Venlo and from there south descending to ETAR (or ETAD?)

Update 15.50LT:
Approaching ETNG now 5400ft near Roermond KC-135 Esso75 (60-0342).
Also now active near De Peel at 3600ft Lion40 L-39 (ES-YLZ)

rond de u aangegeven tijd zie ik geen C-?? westbound boven Tilburg. wel wat eerder 2 C17's.

wel rond uw tijd een KC135, maar die vloog zover ik kan zien niet Westbound maar South-East bound.

RCH173 C-17A (88-0266) 27200ft over Volkel and De Peel heading dir RS or SP.....

Austrian Hercules ASF12 (8T-CC) just left Eindhoven via Roermond-Sittard and now south of Aachen (dir Austria...)

14.22LT C-17 RAF RRR6375 (ZZ177) 34000ft dir Bonn from the SE
Heads up: expect this one over the south of NL (Eindhoven-Tilburg to UK), now 14.33LT near Aachen
