Korean Air: extra vlucht naar Seoul

Gezien het succes van haar vluchten voegt Korean Air een extra vlucht naar Seoul toe aan het vluchtschema voor aankomende zomer. Tot op heden vliegt Korean Air dagelijks naar de Zuid-Koreaanse hoofdstad Seoul (drie keer met hun eigen A330-200, vier keer vanuit een code share overeenkomst met SkyTeam partner KLM). Met ingang van 4 april komt daar op vrijdagen een tweede rechtstreekse Korean Air vlucht bij. “De extra vlucht nemen wij op in ons vluchtschema om aan de vraag van onze klanten te voldoen. Wij hadden vorig 2013 jaar een load factor van circa 90% “, aldus Hassan Semmad, Sales & Marketing Manager Korean Air BeNeLux die daarmee genoeg aanleiding zag om de frequentie van Korean Air uit te breiden. Korean Air heeft in verhouding met iedere andere luchtvaartsmaatschappij veel minder stoelen in de toestellen. Dit komt doordat Korean Air een seat picth van 86,4 cm aanhoudt in de economy class.

Icelandair has decided to increase frequency on KEF-AMS-KEF from 13x/week to 15x/week in high season, with up to 3x/day on Sundays.

Estonian Air has agreed with Växjö Småland Airport in Sweden to commence flights to AMS.
Flights are to start in May 2014. The main city in Smaland is Jonkoping.

Estonian Air has signed a commercial agreement with Växjö Småland Airport in Sweden to serve the route Växjö-Amsterdam from May 2014. Estonian Air will serve the route with 76-seater Embraer 170, and the commercial agreement is valid for one year. Estonian Air serves the route between Växjö and Amsterdam with eight flights a week starting May 4, 2014.

easyJet is to lease A320 G-POWI (2791) & B752 G-ZAPX (29309) from Titan A/W for the summer. The former will be based at Rome/Fiumicino from late May to late October & the latter at Gatwick from mid-July to mid-September.

Since Easyjet also flies to Gatwick and Rome from Schiphol, we might see these aircraft here as well.

Croatia Airlines is launching a 1x/week A319 service DBV-PUY-AMS-PUY-DBV in summer 2014.
The flight will overfly PUY in the shoulder seasons before and after peak summer:

Some small adjustments to Summer 2014:

- KLM will operate AMS-ABZ-AMS 6x/day on Sunday only
- KLM will operate AMS-BOD-AMS 4x/day on Saturday only, in addition to the new easyJet 4x/week.
- KLM increases AMS-NWI from 26x to 27x/week with a 4th Sunday service.

but...

easyJet cancels the 3rd daily SEN-AMS-SEN, route remains 2x/day.

- RJ is reducing AMM-AMS-AMM to 4x/week
- HOP will operate the CRJ on very selected CFE (Sun only in summer) and SXB flights.
- Adria will reduce frequency to 3x/week, but operates the A319 on Tue from 1 - 15 April only.
- easyJet will operate SEN-AMS-SEN 3x/day in April and May only.

A rather unique new service by Arkia, they plan 1 bi-weekly B753 service TLV-AMS-TLV this summer. The airline will operate 2x/week one week and 3x/week the next week in peak summer:

Daarbij gaat het om negen bestemmingen in Spanje: La Coruña, Bilbao, Malaga, Sevilla, Alicante, Mallorca, Valencia, Barcelona en Ibiza. Nieuw is de Italiaanse hoofdstad Rome, dat per 27 juni zes keer per week zal worden aangevlogen.


Maak er maar 70 vluchten van in een week...

De Spaanse luchtvaartmaatschappij, die onderdeel uitmaakt van de International Airlines Group (IAG) met British Airways en Iberia, vliegt vanaf 21 juni drie keer per week van Schiphol naar Santiago, in het noordwesten van Spanje.

I havent read this in this topic, but i read a message on Facebook that Garuda Will start operating the 77W from may 30th onwards on non-stop flight stond CGK.

If it's just me who has missed this, forgive me...
