Thanks for sharing. But why the inconsistency with the type designation? German Tornadoes are also PANAVIA EA200, though you're probably the only only one using that designation..

A-200 and EA-200 are the type designation used by the Italians. Mission Design Series.

The German Tornados are ECR and IDS, no other designation. Since decades the use of the designation which is used by the Air Force should be the one and only correct. It is done e.g. for the RAF (no Eurofighter but Typhoon FGA.4) and also using the right US Forces designations. So the Italian AF designations are only used for the AMI.

Today an anti-nuclear demonstration was scheduled. Many police present around Buchel on the B259 side. After showing the camera and a license plate check, everything was okay for spotting.

Anybody for the IDs of two AMI Tornados that flew this afternoon as COUGAR01 (ADS-B: 33fe09) and COUGAR02?
I saw them overhead my house (NE of Frankfurt) around 15.45lt.
