ADS-B showed DUKE51 / GRIT61 landing at Deelen this evening, both flighs continuing south after a short stop Looked like COVET03 (USAr AH64) made a stop at FARP Arnhemse Heide however, also continuing south. Needs confirmation.

I don't think so. Dutch helos and a single Polish Hip went to Deelen and Ginkel today, and from there on continued to 't Harde for a specific action at the ASK there in the afternoon. US helos (mix of Chinooks, Black Hawks an Apaches) departed De Peel around sunset and went to Friesland (northeast of Drachten), then returned to the south. Looks like the FARPs are still at Deelen, Ginkel and Arnhemse Heide for the time being.

Can anyone confirm that it is not possible to access the former airfield of Valkenburg? Can't really find an answer to that question on the internet..

It seems the base is open (also due to several companies being located inside the fence, e.g. the theatre hangar "Soldaat van Oranje", which has a play that same evening), however, I wont be suprised that there may be some kind of check point set up at the former main gate to allow authorised individuals only. I too however, am hoping this is not the case, as from the outside very few locations seem suitable,

Je kan niet zomaar binnen komen lopen op ex-MVKValkenburg. Ja, er is idd 24/7 beveiliging. Ook zonder deze oefening. Reken er dus op dat je een plek buten de hekken moet zoeken. Lekker ouderwets spotten langs het hek.

De extractie is waarschijnlijk na de lunch.

Het gebied alleen toegankelijk is voor de genodigden.

En wat zou dan in dit geval de "beste" plek zijn om wat laagvlieg aktie te kunnen zien? Is een eeuw geleden dat ik voor het laatst op Valkenburg gestaan heb, ik herken er niets meer van vrees ik...

Probeer de Oude Broekweg vanuit het dorp Valkenburg te bereiken, alhoewel er wegwerkzaamheden zijn deze week.
Als het aan die kant van het veld niet gaat, probeer dan de Ruigelaan (aan de noordkant van het veld) in Wassenaar.
