Hi everybody!
I had the so-called spotting itch and decided for a trip to Singapore, also because I really like the city. Next to some spotting at Singapore, I also made a side-jump to Kuala Lumpur and will post separate posts for that later.
At Singapore, I spotted from the comfort of the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel, the T1 Viewing Mall, and on my day of departure at various windows in the terminals.
Spotting at Singapore can be a challenge due to the weather with many heatwaves and the daily thunderstorms. During my stay, they also switched runways quite often, which was a bit annoying. I made my way to Changi Beach to spot from there to arrive there and noticed they changed runways.
Traffic wise, the airport is very busy. Of course with Singapore Airlines but I went there to photograph the nice Asian gems that fly into the airport.
Anyway, enough talking, time for some pictures!
1. When I arrived at the hotel on the 15th, it was full of American soldiers. And that definitely explained the visit of this Omni Air B767-300ER N342AX, seen here in last light of the day:

2. There are quite some Indian airlines flying to Singapore; Air India, Air India Express, Vistara and IndiGo can all be seen regularly. This is A321-200NX VT-IUK:

3. Sky Angkor Airlines is a good example of a nice Asian gem and this A320 XU-725 was flying for Cambodia Airways that day:

4. This Air India A320neo VT-CIO has a special tail with Gandhi:

5. Vistara is using its A321-200NXs to Singapore, like this VT-TVI:

6. Thai Airways has closed down its Thai Smile-subsidiary and the A320s are now only wearing Thai-titles but still carry the Smile-livery, like HS-TXP shows:

7. Despite the pandemic ended, Garuda A330-900 PK-GHG is still wearing its mask:

8. Thai is flying with the A320, B777 and B787 to Singapore and the latter are looking quite weathered as HS-TQC shows:

9. Traffic to China is also a big thing, with Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Spring Airlines, and Chonqing Airlines flying multiple times a day. Seen here is A320neo B-307R.

10. Each day I saw the more interesting Indonesian cargo carriers depart but never arrive during daylight. On Saturday and Sunday this is different and you can see them during the day. This is B737-300SF PK-MGI of Asia Cargo Airlines:

11. Another good example is My Indo Airlines with this B737-300SF PK-MYB:

12. Arriving in a rainshower, so not the best pic but still nice is this Cambodia Airways A320 XU-762:

13. Another special livery Garuda A330, this retro -300 PK-GHD:

14. Quite the nice special livery on this Xiamen Airlines B737-800 B-5487:

15. Sichuan Airlines operates a single A321-200P2F, this B-32FZ:

16. Singapore Airlines is operating five B777Fs for DHL. They are flying mainly in the dark and also far away from Singapore, so I was happy to catch this 9V-DHC:

17. Arriving just after sunset in fading light is this K-Mile B737-400SF HS-KMA:

18. The Lion Air Group can be seen often at Changi, flying from various destinations with its Batik Air, Batik Air Malaysia and Thai Lion Air entities. This is B737-800 HS-LUU:

19. Each morning sees the arrival of an Air Hong Kong A330-freighter, like this B-LDR:

20. I'm ending my selection with this Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKI:

Hope you liked it. You can see all my shots on my Flickr-page: https://flickr.com/photos/lifelinerone/ ... 0316546635
More to follow from Malaysia!
Cheers!
