Hi,
Not really Super Pumas or Cougars, but a very nice look-a-like, the South African Oryx:
White Oryx M1 1222 of 19 Squadron at Hoedspruit AFB
Oryx M1 1236 of 22 Squadron at Ysterplaat AFB with standard color scheme
Oryx M2 1238 of 22 Squadron in deep maintenance in arctic color scheme
Regards,
Joris

Dit hebben we in Irak gedaan, omdat de vliegers vonden dat de witte letters teveel opvielen. Door die letters minder zichtbaar te maken, dachten ze dat ze op die manier veiliger waren.FISHER01 wrote:ah nog meer gevonden

Well, let me add an unfamiliar sight:
These two Puma's were doing ship-to-ship replenishment (vertrep) from a support vessel to the CVN-75 USS Harry S Truman in the Persian Gulf. Both Puma's belong to Evergreen Helicopters, and were by the US Navy for providing services.
N330JF / 03 . . SA330J . . c/n 1514
N330J / 01 . . . SA330J . . c/n 1647
And although I'd prefer CH-46's for this job, I was pretty happy with the photographic results of these two Puma's.
Cheers,
Iwan
