Scramble in progress (NL 11nov07)

the teletext message translates roughly into what was already discussed in this thread: 2 F-16's out of Leeuwarden were scrambled to intercept a helicopter that was flying without comms over the southwestern part of Holland. Overhead Almere one of the F-16's (or both) went supersonic. Apparently several windows in (my home city) Almere were blown to bits by the bang. My windows weren't, though
Oh well, how else to put some action in an otherwise rather dull sunday-afternoon ... These Alpha-scrambles ARE getting more and more expensive, however

Om e.e.a. leesbaar te houden verzoek ik iedereen om zelfs bij een Scramble in het ter zake doende forum te posten (dus niet in Schiphol-movements voor een knal boven Woerden bv. ) en in de gaten te houden waar het in het Engels moet.

it was a damn hard bang! I just was outside then I heard it too. they even report some broken windows in the neighborhood here! I asume it's a helo from Helicon Helicopter Services who are based at Bergen op Zoom as well as on Lelystad AP.
