PH-HSW is a new aircraft via ILFC.
Bye, Chris.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
I suspect that it'll just be HV.Roel wrote:Bit offtopic but what will be the IATA code for transavia.com Denmark?HV757 wrote:... will go to transavia Denmark (ICAO: TDK) ...

Tia,

Currently all of their flights from CPH carry the HV code, and the Denmark operation is a subsidary of Transavia, whereas Transavia France is a joint-venture with Air France.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
That has nothing to do with it. Currently the transavia flights from Denmark (CPH & BLL) are operated by the "Dutch" transavia. As soon as the Danish crews are trained and the Danish AOC is approved the flights will be executed by the transavia denmark division under the ICAO code TDKCurrently all of their flights from CPH carry the HV code, and the Denmark operation is a subsidary of Transavia, whereas Transavia France is a joint-venture with Air France

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
I'm well aware of the differences on the operational side of things, obviously the CPH and BLL ops will fall under the Transavia Denmark ICAO code once the AOC is issued.HV757 wrote:That has nothing to do with it. But the question is regarding the sales/marketing side, and whether the Denmark operation will utilise the "original" Transavia IATA code or not. I'm of the opinion that the fact the TO/TVF uses a different IATA code does not necessarily mean that TDK will use a different IATA code, as there are differences in the ownership between the two "other" Transavia's (Transavia France being owned 50/50 with Air France, whereas Transavia Denmark will, as I understand, be a complete subsidary of Transavia).
Therefore, I suspect, that the Denmark operations will have the HV code.

Yorden

Why wouldn't it be able to fly from Tancredo Neves International to Gran Canaria ?

Martijn,How can a 737 travel this distance?
ferry flights are done without passengers, only flightcrew. This reduces the weight of the aircraft thus increasing its range.
We even had a delivery of a new B737-700 from Seattle to AMS non-stop a few years ago
