Re: What is a ?
If you start a Google search for Mooney M20 , there will be a very large amount of answers.

Re: What is a ?
Oddly a Google serch threw up a reference to N1009U which appears to be a Caravelle
http://www.ottspotters.com/aug07.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - Ctrl-F and MO20P led to N1009U
A Google search for N1009U gave me this.
http://airlinersgallery.wordpress.com/2 ... ric-photo/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I am confused - were Caravelles ever designated Mo20P?

Re: What is a ?
I think serial N1009U was used for both a Caravelle and a Mooney, as they often do in the US.
N1009U used to be a Mooney M20M according to the FAA, but is has been exported to Belgium as OO-URA.
Regards,
Pim

Right, so the registration database they used was not up-to-date and referred back to the time when the Mooney was carrying that registration?Aviaphotos wrote:I think serial N1009U was used for both a Caravelle and a Mooney, as they often do in the US.
