Today and tomorrow there is a small Open House at La Paz Air Base. Only static no flying
This was the absolute highlight of the show for me
Yeah, the C-130 in Burn Energy Drink colours of course
99% sure it is TAM-63 C-130A that has beed used for spares by TAB. It now serves as a disco. As you see here the paint is very very fresh (still painting)
Other than that it was the usual suspects, here FAB-636 T-33 GAC31 Pumas
FAB-612 T-33 GAC31 Pumas, showing of the weapons, not sure the all fit the Tango.
FAB-90 Fokker F-27 TAM, now also displays the new colours of TAM
FAB-008 Learjet 25B FAB, has become itself again after it was displayed as FAB-010 last year
Last FAB-001 NA265 FAB, one of the nicest presidential jets around
That was all for now, maybe some more tomorrow, Michael

Thx guys, those comments are always appreciated
Didn't go on day two as the weather wasn't nearly as good as the first day, so here a few extras from Saturday.
The remaining T33s outside FAB-606, FAB-607, FAB-610 and last FAB-634 special tail colours.
Airshow atmosphere with the three C-130s on static, FAB-66, CP-2184 and (TAM-63)
CP-2184 RC-130A Tansporte Aereos Bolivianos
FAB-341 Cessna 210 Centurion Fuerza Aerea Boliviana
FAB-101 BAe 146-200 Tansporte Aereo Militar
And last FAB-90 Fokker F-27 Tansporte Aereo Militar, should be re-activated for pax services next month, but lets see
All the best, Michael

Hello everybody,
My first post in this excellent forum, I just had to congratulate Canberra on the always excellent photos, starting with the "unconventional beauties" on the first shot (not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the effort ).
Very interesting photo of FAB-607 which hints that it is at least machine gun-capable at the current time even though pods are removed (compare with FAB-634).
Good news on FAB-90 coming back to passenger service.
Finally I wanted to share one of my favorite photos taken at El Alto on 10OCT09 during the FAB Anniversary parade, there's a show report (Spanish) here: http://aviacionboliviana.net/fab/pres/52/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with a few more photos. If you want I can post some more here.
FAB-100 escorted by FAB-634 and FAB-612
Best regards,
Jonathan
