Re: NEWS - Summer Schedule 2010
This report in CH-Aviation may explain the 100% increase in AMS slots requested by Olympic Aviation:
Macedonian Airlines (Thessaloniki) is reportedly going to be revived by Olympic Air (OA/Athens) later this year as a Thessaloniki based subsidiary specialising in point to point flights from Thessaloniki to destinations such as Amsterdam, London, Moscow and Paris.
Whether this will materialise remains to be seen.

Great, so we might get a new airline, but with very familiar equipment.....has announced plans to add Amsterdam
...
Evsen Group has also announced that it would replace the BAe 146s currently operated by Albanian by some of the ex-KLM cityhopper (WA/Amsterdam) Fokker 100s that Evsen Group has acquired.

... We'll see ... So far only some Ex-Regional F100's left WOE for Iran and none of the Ex-KLM planes have left ... and without planes it becomes difficult to start a new routeehusmann wrote:Great, so we might get a new airline, but with very familiar equipment.....has announced plans to add Amsterdam

volgens mij zijn zowel de 757 als 737 die men gehuurd had al weer geretourneerd aan Air Slovakia? Zal dus wel niet zo'n grote vaart hebben. Daarnaast vloog men al naar Frankfurt (misschien alleen in de zomermaanden).hmv wrote:Uit de CH aviation nieuwsbrief:Albanian Airlines (LV/Tirana) is now controlled Azerbaijan based Evsen Group that has acquired a 93% stake in the carrier. Checked it internally but very unlikely that KLC FK100's will operate for Albanian Airlines....

Dit lijkt me heel erg stug, aangezien Yemenia net al haar Europese vliegactiviteiten heeft gestaakt.Dutchbird wrote:Yemenia Yemen Airways
