Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Somebody have the US Airways 767-200?

According to dutchplanespotters.nl this a/c with reg. N938UW is a 767-200, but as this photo shows, it's a 757-200:Bendavid2 wrote:Somebody have the US Airways 767-200?

Re: Amsterdam EHAM 07-08-2011
In the afternoon at the Polderbaan the wind caused the pilots some pain in the neck however it gave nice photo opportunities.
I bought myself a 1.7 teleconverter and used today to test it live. I have made the photo’s using my 400 mm prime where the focal length including my converter ended on 680 mm.
Unfortunate I forgot the first lessen at camera school and did not checked my camera to well. The shots were made in JPG where I normally shoot in RAW. Nevertheless some nice shots.
Hope you like them to.

WOW first and third picture are extreme. I am curious how did it was from this angle (from the back).
Also both picture seems not so sharp to me but it is the heat, isn´t it?
I saw in today´s topic, posted bij SPL, also that US airways would come with a 762 but seems like a (small) mistake of some system.

David,
The head waves case some un-sharpness in the pictures. I have resised them and posted them again. Can you check if it is better now. I still need to improve my editing skills. "Wild Weasel" was so kind to help me on the road but I need to practice much more.

Thanks Tom
Another tip; when you work with a converter you 've to kill the aperture more.

Looks much better now I was even doubting about possible differences between my laptop ( where I saw the first upload and my desktop PC ).Frankwin wrote:David,
