Ukrainan offensive
Ukraine have today started an offensive against the pro-Russian separatists (the Aftonbladets words). Two helicopters have been shot down of SAM used by the separatists (Aftonbladet). One pilot dead and one pilot caught.

Pictures with a shooting Hind is strange. The flames from the rockets seams strange. And it shoot against a Ka-52? on ground. It most be pictures taken in Russia. The information from the eastern Ukraine must be taken under consideration. But it is shore they use some kind of surface to air missiles. And pictures are coming with soldiers with russian flags on arms.

According an AP intevju with the Russian FSB commander Strelkov (Aftonbladet) in Slavyansk were they attacked in the morning today around 4.30 by around 20 Ukrainan helicopters (Strelkov intervju).

and Swedish TV news 18.00.
The Ukrainan operations were air- and ground based. With information from different sources is at around 20 helicopters and 15 APC (BTR).
The helicopters were on shut by manpads.
One were hit and exploded and one other made a hard landing. On other helicopter with medicals were on shut by small arms fire.

According www.aviation-safety.net 2 Mi-24's and 1 Mi 8 were damaged/destroyed

The operations started around 4.30 today in the morning and were is still at 20.00 a lot of shooting in Slavyansk. We may se the after a couple of days how its end. Were is also reports of at least 8 to 9 losses.

Ukraine has banned Russian passenger plane to land at airports in Donetsk and Kharkiv, according to the Russian air transport authority Rosaviation, reports Interfax. Russian passenger plane with Donetsk and Kharkiv as the final destination may no longer access to the Ukrainian airspace.

Getting your fact more straight would be helpful. Brazilian Sabres don't have retractable gears and I am not sure if your remark does have anything to do with the subject that is quite serious in my opinion.wamovements wrote:Picture looks like a Brazilian Hind to me.
