That 's helpful ! It's too bad the NTA is fairly late with providing details.
Re: NATO TIGER MEET 2016 Zaragoza
K-9, the "NTA" is just now returning from the Main Planning Conference in Zaragosa where we just were officially informed there would be an airshow. I get the feeling that you're quite the amateur when it comes to the NATO tigers. We are not in the airshow business. Since 55 years we are about combat training. Often the host base has an airshow during the NTM; but that's strictly their business. Therefore it's quite correct and normal that other sites might announce airshow info before we place the same on our sites. We do that only as a service to our fans. So the message to you is to not be so quick to negatively comment on a situation you apparently know nothing about.

As you see Don, people think a lot till they need to arrange an event for them self.

If that is what YOU think, that i'm thinking ..... Than you might explain yourself a little better.rwknew wrote:As you see Don, people think a lot till they need to arrange an event for them self.
Since that isn't the case, would it be so. You can count on it being a world event.
Have had contact with mr. Verhees several times during the past years ( 2001 - 2015 ) both via pm and in person.
Something has clearly triggered him to react the way he did.
It's just a sad thing that compared to some other events / exercises, also held to train pilots rather than being entertaining for enthusiasts, they ( in general ) are a little late.
Having spread my word, i'm not saying they do a bad job. Have given my compliments on more than one occasion.
This is my opinion, think of it what you want. I'm entitled to have it.
For now back to topic !

K-9, good copy. "Fairly late" was the trigger. I guess I wouldn't call 2 days after the NTA found out officially from the host base exactly late. We'll get it on the site after we put our bags down and say hello to the family. Anyway, NTM 16 is gonna be big. If the force offerings hold, it will be our biggest. The Friday spotters day should be a good one. The Meet, the Friday Spottersday, and the airshow are all quite new events for the current base staff, especially due to the size. It is pretty sure there will be more to the Saturday airshow than just the announced SPAF teams/demos; but, the wheels turn slowly down south, so don't expect an early list. Cheers, Don
